The SCORE Associations (Counselors to America's Small Business) is a non-profit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth, and success of small business nationwide. SCORE has 380 chapters throughout the United States and its territories, with 13,000 volunteers nationwide.

SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration. SCORE members are trained to serve as counselors, advisors, and mentors to aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners.

The Central Wisconsin Chapter provides free counseling and low-cost workshops for the Stevens Point, Marshfield, and Wisconsin Rapids areas. Our group of both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors. Our services are available to anyone looking to start a business or a current business owner looking for some new ideas and support.

Our counselors can help with developing a business plan, marketing ideas, financial resources, providing for whatever your business needs are. It is very likely that one of our counselors has experienced or counseled someone with exactly what you are going through.
